The Pines is located in Tuross Head which is south of Moruya and is able to accommodate up to 100 people at one time. The Pines is owned and operated by St Edmund's College Canberra with all St Edmund's boys having the opportunity to experience some time at Tuross. Years 4 to 9 have an annual camp at the Pines as part of their studies and this time is designed to give the boys the experience of community living and to engage in field studies in a coastal environment. Students also attend Tuross for retreats as well as the specialised excursions and is currently being developed as an off campus field studies centre. The Pines is also used and available to Old Boys, current family groups, community and sporting organisations, retreats, as a relaxing holiday venue or conference facility.

Tuross Head is surrounded by water with Coila Lake to the North, Tuross Lake to the South, the Pacific Ocean to the East and the mountains to the West. The area is famous for fishing, fresh oysters, water sports and it's wildlife particularly whales and birds. Tuross Head has a shopping village with nine food outlets ranging from first class restaurants to take-a-way cafes. The award winning Tuross Country Club has bowling greens and a golf course.
The Pines is located on three acres of land just a short stroll from Tuross Lake and the beautiful beach of the Pacific Ocean.
The Pines primarily caters for schools camps of up to 100. A program can be developed covering a range of activities to suit individual schools needs and a range of budgets.
The Pines is also available for smaller catered camps, non-catered groups, old boys and current family groups, reunions and weddings.
Linen hire is offered for each bed in the main building and the bunkhouse staff rooms.
The main building can accommodate up to thirty guests with ten rooms containing a mixture of two or four single beds and one room has a double bed.
All the bedrooms have close access to the two sets of bathrooms and showers independently marked for male and female use in the main building.
The dining room will comfortably seat 80 to 100 people at one sitting.
The lounge room in the main building can seat approximately 20 people offering a nice quiet spot to retreat too and a television.
The 'Fingleton' and 'Kelly' bunkhouses can each accommodate fortyone people with 40 in the bunk accommodation (mattress only provided) in five seperate cubicles containing four sets of double bunks and one single bed in the staff bedroom with a pillow, linen and doona provided. Guests staying in the bunkhouse cubicle areas are required to bring their own bedding ie a sleeping bag, pillow, bottom sheet, doona/blankets and towels. Each bunkhouse has six showers and three toilets and a laundry. We require that all children staying in the bunkhouses are to be supervised at all times. The Pines policy requires a responsible adult to sleep in the bunkhouse whilst in use.
The Edmund Rice Centre is a conference facility that can accommodate 80 people.
A TV, OHP and sound system are provided. This room is used for Mass for the local community on Sundays between 7.30am and 9.00am.
