Football (Soccer) at St Edmund's College has continued to grow as the game becomes more and more popular with boys at the school.

The aim of the Football (Soccer) Committee is to provide students of the College with an opportunity to enjoy their football and improve their skills in a happy, safe, competitive and friendly environment.

The College is proud of its reputation for good sporting behavior and it is expected that its members do their best to maintain this tradition.

Our Mission Statement is to promote and develop recreational and competitive football in line with School policies, promote the ideals of "fair play", where participation and fun are key elements and to promote harmony and friendship among all participants.

One of the annual competitions in which St Edmund's College participates is the MARSEC Shield tournament against Marist College. We also have boys playing in the Kanga Cup and a number of other tournaments.

St Edmund's football forms a major part of the College's extra curricula and sporting activities and we are a member of the ACT Football Federation Incorporated (trading as 'Capital Football').

St Edmund's Football Committee holds regular meetings that are open to all members of the school community. Location, dates and times are advised in the school calendar, the Vortex and on the SEC Football website.

Our Football Coordinator is Jonathan Hall who is eager to see football grow to its full potential at the College. The Football Committee members are listed on the SEC Football website.

St Edmund's Football colours are royal blue and white.
