Religious Education

The aim of Religious Formation at St Edmund's College is to provide students with the opportunity to understand and experience a relationship with God in the Christian, Catholic and Edmund Rice Tradition. There are many religious formation activities at St Edmund's College. Some of these are:

A comprehensive retreat programme throughout the School

In year 11 and 12, all students at St Edmund's College attend a three-day retreat programme that is focused around the principles of youth-to-youth ministry. The senior retreats are conducted by staff with the support of post-school students including the Archdiocesan Youth Team. Reflection, prayer and community sharing are all important aspects of the retreat programme. Students from the Middle School to Year 10 are offered a one-day retreat experience each year.
