Teaching and Learning Support

At St Edmunds the Teaching and Learning Support Department is focused on the needs of the student.  The student/teacher relationship is based on mutual respect, trust and understanding.  Cooperation, collaboration and diversity are valued.  Students with special needs may include students with disabilities or specific learning difficulties and students whose welfare or emotional well being is of particular concern.  Different learning styles are recognised and accommodated.  Students who speak English as a Second Language and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students are also provided with assistance as needed within this Department.

Areas of Involvement:

  • Numeracy Support
  • Literacy Support
  • Support for Indigenous students
  • English as a Second Language
