Co-curricular Policy at St Edmund's College

To assist in achieving the aims of the College, it is the policy that all boys take part in co-curricular activities of the school. Involvement in co-curricular activities has always been a strong tradition at St. Edmund's College Canberra. These activities are designed to complement the religious and academic development of the students. They contribute to a feeling of identity, belongingness and happiness for the students. They provide another opportunity for contact between staff and students, an area of common interest and this frequently improves the rapport in the classroom. A sense of pride and tradition is built through these activities.

The College offers a variety of sports but directs its efforts to maintaining the activities which support its traditional links with other non-government and government schools.
